About The Position

PC Logistics, LLC. offers Dedicated, Temperature Controlled and Expedited trucking for the Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Industrial and Technology sectors. We also offer Warehousing, Fulfillment and Distribution in our Food Grade storage facility. We have operations in Oak Creek Wisconsin and Indiana. Please pre-qualify for the job at: https://cdlsuite.com/pclogistics Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Over the Road CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record and a minimum of 2 years of experience in long-haul trucking. As an Over the Road Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery, adhering to all safety regulations. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career advancement. When doing local hours are 9AM-5PM

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL Class A truck driver, preferably with local and over the road or long-haul transportation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to move objects as needed with pallet jack
  • Final confirmation of any job offer will be contingent upon you undergoing a pre-employment drug screening. Failure to complete such screening, the falsification of a screening, or a positive finding on a screening will remove you from employment consideration for one year.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maneuver a tractor-trailer over long distances, including highways and interstates.
  • Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, and brakes; report any issues or concerns.
  • Comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards, maintaining logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, adhering to rest periods and other requirements.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues.
  • Load and unload product with a power jack; palletize/tag some product for returns
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including securing cargo properly and using required safety equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, always representing the company professionally.
