About The Position

CDL Class A Driver (Food Distribution, Cold Chain) Troy, MI This position is ideal for drivers with food-service or touch freight experience who want consistent work without heavy case-by-case unloading. All freight is palletized, and drivers use electric pallet jacks to load and unload full pallets. Drivers do not break down pallets or hand-deliver cases, and most delivery stops are quick drop-offs averaging about 15 minutes. Position Highlights $27–$29 per hour (based on experience) Local routes – typically home daily Typical schedule Tuesday through Saturday 8–12 hour shifts depending on route Palletized freight only – no case-by-case unloading

Requirements

• 3+ years CDL Class A experience
• Clean driving record (MVR)
• Valid DOT medical card
• Stable work history
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver palletized refrigerated food products
• Use electric pallet jacks to move pallets on and off the truck
• Perform standard pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team members
