About The Position

To safely provide on-time, accurately counted, customer-oriented deliveries to Kelly Foods customers supported by complete and accurate paperwork requirements as mandated by DOT regulations and Kelly's.

Requirements

• CDL Class A Driver License with 1 year experience.
• Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and compliance with the same.
• High School/GED.
• Clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Safe and courteous operation of equipment.
• Accuracy and accounting of all freight delivered and/or picked up.
• Adherence and successful execution of all paperwork with special emphasis on billing-related and DOT hours of service requirements.
• Routine communication with dispatch after each stop and for any and all exceptions.
• Timely and regular attendance is required.
• Must be able to interact courteously and tactfully with managers, co-workers, customers and/or vendors in a way that positively affects production and morale.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
