About The Position

The CDL Driver II is responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of manual and automatic transmission equipment, including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old (required for interstate commercial driving per federal regulations).
• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement.
• Minimum of 3 years of Class A commercial driving experience, including tanker experience.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Regional or home daily schedule.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods/materials over long distances in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Complete all required administrative tasks and documentation related to transportation, hazardous/non-hazardous materials, and vehicle/equipment maintenance.
• Ensure vehicle placarding is compliant with DOT regulations.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers regarding instructions, delivery status, and any potential delays.
• Promote safety at all times—for fellow employees, clients, and the public—while operating company vehicles and performing company activities.
• Accurately interpret maps and follow written or verbal directions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
