About The Position

Garelick Farms, a DFA company, is seeking dependable Class A CDL DSD Delivery Drivers for immediate openings. This role involves delivering dairy products directly to store locations on local routes. Drivers typically start at 3 am or 4 am and work approximately 12 hours a day, with a four-day work week and opportunities for overtime. Key responsibilities include safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer, manually unloading and delivering various dairy products, and building positive relationships with customers to meet their needs and expectations. Garelick Farms Dairy is part of Dairy Farmers of America, Inc., a company that manufactures a variety of dairy products under well-known regional brands, delivering dairy from its farmer family owners to consumers.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks)
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to push, pull, & lift to 55 lbs.
• Flexibility – overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• 1 year related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
• Manually unload/deliver various Dairy products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
• Build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude
• Become familiar with customer operations to meet needs and expectations
