About The Position

Carter Lumber, a family-owned company founded in 1932, is seeking CDL Class A/B Drivers for panel delivery. As a CDL Delivery Specialist, the role involves safely and timely transporting orders to local customer jobsites using a company-owned fleet, meeting daily delivery schedules, and providing professional customer service. On-site, the driver will unload materials using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, trusses, and/or panels
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Ability to be a team player

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet
• Ensuring that daily delivery schedules are met
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Unloading using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them
