About The Position

This position is responsible for driving drive the truck to and from the hatcheries to pick up and deliver chicks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports Allen Harim’s vision, mission and values Deliver chicks from the hatcheries to designated farm facilities. Responsible for inspection of equipment before loading. Complete the required paper work accurately and in a timely manner Follow biosecurity rules and BSE rules Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to the supervisor Complete written delivery reports Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

High school degree or equivalent
A valid medical card
Minimum of two (2) years driving experience required
Must meet all DOT requirements and comply with DOT rules and regulations
CDL Class A license
Ability to lift 60 pounds without assistance, climb ladders, and operate a pallet jack with 2000 pounds of material
During the duty day individual will have to work in cold and hot environments.
