CDL B Route Delivery Driver
About The Position
Bartlett Dairy Inc. is a dairy distribution company that serves a wide range of customers including public/private schools, hospitals, restaurants, supermarket chains and so much more across the tri-state area. POSITION SUMMARY: The ideal candidate will have a least one year of experience driving a Striaght Truck (26ft) and ensuring that goods are distributed on time and in accordance with safety regulations. Our delivery drivers are responsible for unloading a diverse range of products to our customer's locations throughout the tri-state area. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various morning start times are required in order to successfully meet customers' needs.
Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Abie to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with no more than 3 violations on MVR
- 1 year experience required
- A valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card.
- Must be able to pass a Clearing House Query
- Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check, Employment Verification).
- Ability to lift 50lbs and push or pull 150lbs with a handtruck.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to unload items from the truck safely by hand.
- Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
- Have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Responsibilities
- Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows
- Abide by Company and Department of Transportation regulaitons
- Unloading of merchandise with the use of hand trucks
- Provide an excellent customer service experience by meeting customer needs during delivery
- Ability to operate a commercial truck safely throughout the tri-state area.
