About The Position

Kohler Distributing Company is the #1 Beer and other Alcoholic beverage wholesale distributor in Northern NJ, with over 300 team members and a 250,000 square foot office and warehousing facility. The company prides itself on providing the best support and service to its nearly 3000 retail customers. They are currently seeking quality, full-time CDL B Local Delivery Drivers to join their team and help fulfill commitments to customers. The position is unionized with Teamsters Local 11 and operates exclusively in Northern NJ. CDL Delivery Drivers are paid by hour, load count, and piece count, with overtime available after 40 hours per week. A $2000 retention bonus is offered, paid over the first six months of employment ($500 after 30, 60, 90, and 180 days).

Requirements

• Possess a valid CDL Driver Class A or B license
• Possess a valid medical card
• Safely and efficiently operate a Class B designated Commercial Vehicle
• Have a clean driving history and meet our Safe Driving Policy guidelines
• Be physically able to push, pull, lift, and deliver to customers efficiently
• Knowledge of driving a manual transmission is required
• Completed employment application
• Provide a valid copy of their driver’s license
• Provide a valid copy of their medical card
• Provide an abstract no older than 30 days
• Pass a drug test
• Pass a fit for duty test
• Pass a background check
