Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CDL B driving experience (insurance requirement)
- Valid CDL Class B license with Airbrake endorsement
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Excellent time management and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Operate rear-load, side-load, or front-load garbage trucks equipped with airbrakes
- Follow assigned routes and collection schedules
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections
- Safely load and unload waste and recyclable materials
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and route supervisors
- Maintain accurate records for mileage, fuel usage, and pickups
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations
- Provide courteous service and report service-related issues
- Assist with basic truck cleanliness and minor maintenance tasks
