About The Position

Waste Control, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire for a CDL Residential Garbage Route Driver, to join the team in Longview, Washington! Schedule will be Monday - Friday starting at 4:30 Am to 4:00 Pm (About 10 Hours), with Overtime Often, work weeks average about 45 Hours+ a week. Rate of Pay is $28.00/HR. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Working knowledge of D.O.T. laws
The schedule will be Monday - Friday day shift, 45-50 hours per week, 5am start time.
Willingness to submit to and pass background check and pre-employment drug screening test
Clean driving record.
Safety Sensitive: Yes

Responsibilities

Valid Class A or B CDL license with air brake endorsement
Ability to read route sheets or Tablet and service each customer identified or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform Daily Pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles. Such as checking fluids, safety equipment, lights and tire pressure.
Operate hydraulic hand controls
Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Ability to work a physically demanding job. Loading and unloading Garbage Containers using a Hydraulic Side Arm from inside the Cab of the Truck.
Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments
