Join a Top Workplace Your day, at a glance Start of shift: You’ll inspect your assigned unit, including the personal safety kit, and document any repair needs. After a quick huddle with the Distribution Manager, you’ll review tasks and jump into action. On the yard: Using a yard horse, you’ll position tankers and trailers at our 7300 location, moving equipment to wash and scale as needed. Accuracy matters—so you’ll complete transactions in the Prism system to keep our logistics visible and precise. On the road: As needed, you’ll shuttle product between 7300 and MK West. You may also step in for vacation coverage—handling assigned deliveries in a straight truck, tractor trailer, or tanker. Safety & quality: You’ll follow SOPs, uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence, and report any food safety concerns to your supervisor or the SQF Practitioner. You’ll participate in required RCRA, regulatory, health & safety, and process training—and remain RCRA compliant. Teamwork: You’ll collaborate across departments to balance workloads, provide backup where needed, and keep communication flowing so the branch succeeds together.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid CDL with current DOT physical and required endorsements: HAZMAT and Tanker
  • Acceptable driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Strong computer skills: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Forklift operation ability (prior experience preferred)
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Current CDL License

Responsibilities

  • Move and spot tankers/trailers with a yard horse at the 7300 location; wash and weigh as required
  • Run product shuttles between 7300 and MK West
  • Complete daily Prism system transactions for visibility and accuracy
  • Cover deliveries during vacations (straight truck, tractor trailer, or tanker)
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections; report repair needs, including the personal safety kit
  • Follow all relevant SOPs; perform additional duties as assigned
  • Report food safety issues to your supervisor or the SQF Practitioner
  • Participate in required training; maintain RCRA compliance
  • Provide plant/warehouse/driver coverage as directed by the Transportation Supervisor
  • Support cross‑department communication and branch success
