Duties and Responsibilities: Operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices Following dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, travels to location to transport raw milk Takes measures to minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption Verify proper documentation (Load number/Seal numbers/etc.) to validate load delivery and destination. Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade level. Always represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnel

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred
• Must have a current CDL (Class A) in state of residence.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement.
• Minimum of 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience (military experience does count towards this requirement)
• In lieu of 1-year verifiable driving experience, driver applicants may have successfully graduated from a FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training certified driving school.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT procedures, rules, and requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language both orally and in writing
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to read and record accurate volume and weight measurement
• Good organization and record keeping skills
• Punctuality
