We are hiring in Birmingham, AL 35201 Job explanation: We value your time off. At Albany Trucking, drivers enjoy home time every weekend for 2 days. Your primary routes will focus in the Northeast and Midwest, but opportunities for broader travel across more states may arise, offering diverse experiences and scenic journeys. As a CDL A Truck Driver at Albany Trucking, you'll experience the breadth of America. The Rewards of the Road at Albany Trucking: We offer a competitive compensation package of $1,500 to $1,700 per week. Our drivers typically average 2,087 miles per week, with our top performers reaching an average of 2,697 miles. We offer a full benefits package including Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. We also offer paid time off and 401K with a company match. Drive the Best with Albany Trucking: Our modern fleet reflects our commitment to providing the best equipment. We primarily operate 2021-2024 Peterbilt 579 Ultralofts, with a limited number of KW T680s also in service. For optimal comfort and convenience, every truck is equipped with APUs (mostly ThermoKing, with some Carrier units on older models), refrigerators, and power inverters. Our trucks are speed-limited to 70 mph (both cruise control and pedal) and feature outward-facing cameras exclusively. Kickstart Your Albany Trucking Career: Orientation Details: Orientation will last 3 days and we have classes that start on Monday or Wednesday. We offer transportation to orientation. We provide you with a single-person hotel room and lunches are provided. You will receive $375 pay for the 3-day orientation.
