CDL-A Truck Driver Freight: No-touch dry van with drop and hook Home Time: Weekly or extended options available Weekly Pay: $1,400 to $1,550 Hiring Area: Monroe, Louisiana Managing your day on the road depends on how freight is lined up and how delivery times are spaced across each run. This opportunity is designed for a CDL A driver who values clearly defined delivery expectations, steady movement between stops, and equipment that supports long hours without unnecessary downtime. How the Work Is Scheduled Pickup and delivery times are arranged ahead of each run, giving drivers better visibility into their day and helping with trip planning. A Class A CDL driver in this role can expect routes that are organized to minimize idle time and keep transitions between stops efficient. Freight is primarily drop and hook with no-touch handling, allowing more focus on driving and less time waiting at facilities. Routes are built to support forward progress throughout the trip without unnecessary backtracking. Standard Job Details Regional drivers typically run 5–7 days with weekly home time. Over-the-road options allow longer stretches followed by extended time off. Team drivers have access to higher mileage opportunities with partner routes. Drivers operate late-model tractors including Freightliner, Kenworth, and International units. Trucks are assigned and can be taken home with secure parking. Equipment and Cab Setup Each unit is equipped with: Automatic or manual transmission options depending on availability Inverter systems for onboard power Idle management systems for cab comfort The setup supports a CDL-A truck driver looking for dependable performance across changing road conditions while maintaining comfort during extended runs. Earnings and Pay Structure Weekly income is $1,400 to $1,550 based on route type and miles. Additional pay is included for layovers, extra stops, and safety performance. Direct deposit is standard for all drivers, with consistent pay cycles that allow drivers to plan ahead financially. Driver Support and Benefits Health, dental, and vision coverage are available. 401(k) options help support long-term planning. Paid time off is included for rest between runs.
