CDL-A Truck Driver | Fayetteville, AR Pay: $1,350 to $1,525 per week | Dry Van Freight No Touch Freight movement in this position is built around dry van loads with drop-and-hook handling, allowing a CDL-A truck driver to move efficiently between stops while limiting time at customer locations. Standard Job Overview A CDL A driver in this role operates across regional and over-the-road lanes, with freight planned to support steady transitions between pickups and deliveries. The structure of each run allows a CDL-A truck driver to stay focused on drive time while maintaining a clear flow between assignments. Routes are arranged to keep a Class A CDL driver active throughout the week, with dispatch aligning load timing and routing to available hours. This setup supports consistent mileage without unnecessary interruptions. Equipment & Driving Environment Late-model Freightliner, Volvo, and Peterbilt tractors Automatic transmissions with APUs and inverters Dry van trailers with no-touch freight Drop-and-hook freight reduces time spent at docks Earnings Breakdown Drivers earn $1,350 to $1,525 per week, with a guaranteed minimum during the first 90 days. Additional pay categories include layover, detention, and breakdown compensation when applicable. Home Time Structure 14 days out followed by a 48-hour reset Some lanes offer more frequent home time based on availability Time off is scheduled to support planning between runs Getting Started Travel to orientation is arranged by flight or rental car. Meals are provided during orientation, and drivers receive $1,000 in orientation pay. The onboarding process is designed to move drivers into trucks without delay.
