This OTR role with Express Trucking Group includes home time every other week, giving drivers consistent time off while staying productive on the road. Freight consists of dry van loads with no-touch handling. Routes run primarily east of I-35 through established freight lanes across the Southeast, Midwest, and Eastern states. A large portion of freight is drop and hook, helping reduce delays and keep drivers moving. Weekly earnings range from $1,500–$1,800 based on miles and load type. Additional compensation such as detention and layover pay is available when applicable. Drivers also receive medical, dental, and vision coverage after 30 days, plus a retirement plan with company match after six months and paid vacation. Equipment includes newer model tractors designed for reliability and driver comfort. Drivers operate automatic trucks with inverters and standard sleeper features for extended runs. Trucks may be taken home with approved parking or parked at company locations when needed. This role is a strong fit for drivers who want steady miles and reliable home time.
