About The Position

This is an opportunity for CDL-A drivers to join a local dedicated account based in Chester, NY. The role offers predictable routes and a reliable schedule, allowing drivers to stay close to home while earning competitive pay. Drivers will be responsible for delivering fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers within a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY, covering areas in NY, NJ, CT, and PA. The position involves multi-stop deliveries, typically 15 or more stops per week, with drivers handling either two loads per day or one long load. The freight is mostly no-touch, though driver assistance may be required when needed. The equipment includes day cabs (both automatic and manual) and operates on a slip-seat basis, with trucks remaining at the terminal. The company emphasizes driver safety and rest.

• Be a professional driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers
• Operate within a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY (NY, NJ, CT, PA)
• Perform multi stop deliveries (15+ stops per week)
• Handle 2 loads per day or 1 long load
• Assist with freight when needed (mostly no-touch freight)

Benefits

• Average annual pay: $85,000 – $100,000
• CPM: $0.68 – $0.74
• Sign-on bonus: $5,000
• Stop pay: $28.50 – $30 per stop
