Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license with current medical card
5+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
Experience safely operating and backing 53’ dry vans
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to pass: DOT physical & drug screening Background check Road test
Comfortable driving for extended periods
Willingness to travel up to 50%
No more than 2 minor moving violations in the past 3 years
No serious traffic violations in the past 5 years
No DUI/DWI/reckless driving (last 10 years)
No preventable accidents in the past 3 years
No DOT-recordable accidents in the past 10 years

Responsibilities

Safely operate semi-trucks (53’ dry vans), straight trucks, and passenger vehicles in both controlled test environments and public roads
Support real-world testing of driver-assistance and autonomous systems
Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs)
Provide clear, structured feedback to engineering teams on vehicle and system performance
Assist with additional fleet or operational tasks as needed
