Job Summary McKee Foods is seeking a CDL A Team Truck Driver to join our team at our Stuarts Draft, Virginia location. Why drive with us? 3 to 4 days of home time each week 15 years average driver tenure Newer equipment well-maintained by dedicated on-site fleet maintenance Pay Average $88,700 / year Stable pay STARTING at $1531 / week after initial training (includes delivery premium) Pay increase in 6 months to $1590 60+ years of profit sharing Partial pay for road expenses (per diem) Extra trips available to increase your weekly pay Schedule and Route Cover a dedicated region consisting of the Northeastern states Run an average of 2.25 overnight trips per week Unload cases of snack cakes safely and efficiently Always off sundown Friday to sundown Saturday Location 272 Patton Farm Road, Stuarts Draft VA 24477
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Minimum 18 months experience driving a tractor trailer
- Willingness to drive team
- Ability to unload a trailer containing cases of snack cake products, regularly lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
- Safe driving record and good work history
- Ability to obtain tanker endorsement within 30 days of employment
Responsibilities
- Cover a dedicated region consisting of the Northeastern states
- Run an average of 2.25 overnight trips per week
- Unload cases of snack cakes safely and efficiently
