About The Position
Nutrition 101 is looking for experienced, safety-driven CDL A Tanker Drivers to join our growing transportation team. Be home daily Competitive, load-based pay plus safety and performance bonuses Consistent work with a stable, growing operation Strong safety culture and well-maintained equipment Supportive dispatch and leadership team that values driver input What You’ll Do Safely transport liquid feed and agricultural materials between locations Load and unload tanker equipment following strict safety and handling procedures Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation Maintain accurate DOT logs, delivery documentation, and compliance records Follow all DOT regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) requirements Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members Deliver professional, courteous service at every stop
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A with tanker endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (tanker or liquid hauling preferred)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and strong safety history
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, HOS, and ELD systems
- Ability to safely operate tanker equipment, including understanding load dynamics and surge
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screenings (pre-employment, random, post-accident)
- Ability to pass DOT Physical.
- At least 20/40 vision in each eye (corrected or uncorrected) with 70-degree field of vision in each eye.
- Ability to distinguish signals on traffic signals.
- Ability to hear a forced whisper at 5 feet (with or without hearing aids).
- Ability to climb in and out of a truck multiple times a day.
- Capable of sitting, standing, walking, and crouching for long periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (hoses, fittings, and equipment).
- Able to maneuver liquid-filled tanker, which has a shifting center of gravity.
- Able to handle sudden stops, turns, and changing road conditions.
- Familiar with braking techniques for tankers (to prevent sloshing).
- Understanding of load dynamics and properly securing and inspecting vehicle/equipment.
- Capable of driving for long hours while maintaining focus.
- Must comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations to prevent fatigue.
- Able to react quickly to hazardous road conditions.
- Familiar with emergency shutdown procedures for leaks or spills.
