About The Position

This position is for Midwest Motor Express (MME), a sister company of AAA Cooper Transportation (ACT). Together through an extended network, we offer a wide range of employment opportunities. Midwest Motor Express (MME), (SCAC "AACT"), the Midwest operating region of AAA Cooper Transportation, is immediately hiring reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Class A CDL truck drivers to join the team at our Kansas City, MO, Service Center. As a Shuttle class A CDL truck driver, you'll be the face of our company, directly interacting with our valued customers during daily pickups and deliveries within your designated local area. Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Verifiable commercial driving experience
• Clean driving record reflecting less than two moving violations in the past 3 years
• Complete all onboarding requirements
• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned tractor-trailer or straight trucks to transport freight between designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport.
• Manage electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately record driving hours and activities.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service center personnel, and customers.
• Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers, ensuring a positive representation of ACT.
• Proactively support operations by assisting supervisors with key tasks and initiatives.
