About The Position

Currently, Trimac is hiring Owner Operators for regional chemical hauls out of Anacortes, WA, providing a chance to maximize earnings while staying closer to home.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience (chemical experience preferred).
• CDL-A with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements.
• TWIC card required after hire.
• Pass Trimac safety assessment.
• 2010 or newer sleeper cab tractor (no specific make/model required).
• Truck must accommodate a compressor PTO installation (provided at no cost to the driver).
• Must have e-logs installed (also at no cost to the driver).
• Past 7 years without driving violations involving illegal substances or preventable accidents.
• Past 3 years without license suspensions involving drug/alcohol or major preventable accidents.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in chemical transportation.
• Familiarity with e-logs and safety assessments.

Responsibilities

• Transport chemicals and bulk goods safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during transportation.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and management teams.
• Ensure the truck is in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate logs.
