Requirements

Class A CDL
Endorsements: HazMat, Doubles/Triples
Verifiable commercial driving experience
Clean driving record reflecting less than two moving violations in the past 3 years
Complete all onboarding requirements
21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Operate company-owned tractor-trailer or straight trucks to transport freight between designated locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport.
Manage electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately record driving hours and activities.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service center personnel, and customers.
Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers, ensuring a positive representation of ACT.
Proactively support operations by assisting supervisors with key tasks and initiatives.
