About The Position

Join our team at NFI CalCartage as a Class A CDL driver in the Intermodal/Drayage division. This position offers a mix of local and regional routes, primarily operating in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. You will be responsible for transporting import ocean containers ranging from 20' to 40'. The schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, with some weekend work required. We provide 24/7 support to our drivers and offer a variety of perks to make your experience with us rewarding.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
• TWIC card required.
• Must own plates.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with intermodal or drayage operations.
• Familiarity with the operating area (AL, MS, LA).

Responsibilities

• Transport import ocean containers between designated locations.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
