About The Position
The CDL A Local Driver position involves transporting, loading, and unloading freight in a productive, safe, and claims-free manner between our Service Centers and our customers. The role requires performing pre and post trip inspections on the tractor and trailer, properly documenting all freight control processes, and maintaining the cleanliness of the company vehicle. Drivers will also assist customers in preparing shipping papers and interact with both external and internal customers. The position may require operating a forklift to load and unload products and participating in training and improvement programs.
