About The Position

Universal Logistics is a leading provider of customized transportation and logistics solutions, offering a comprehensive suite of services including transportation, value-added, intermodal, and specialized services utilized throughout entire supply chains. We operate from 40 terminals and eight container yards, providing Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports, and Domestic moves. We are looking for drivers for container transport from the port/train of Houston to Dallas, Austin, Laredo, and other areas. This position allows you to be home nightly and on weekends, with all routes being round trips, eliminating the need to wait for return trips.

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• TWIC Card
• 6 months of Tractor Trailer experience
• 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Transport containers from ports and rail ramps to customer facilities.
• Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
