Alpont Transportation is seeking CDL A Hazmat Truck Drivers who can earn up to $135,000 per year and enjoy the benefit of being home weekly. The position offers compensation for all time worked, with a pay rate of $0.70 per mile and an hourly rate of $31 for hours on duty that are not driving. Additionally, drivers will receive paid time off for various reasons including funeral, sick leave, holidays, and jury duty, compensated at $33 per hour for 8 hours a day. Layover pay is provided at $35 per night for drivers who are out overnight, assisting with expenses during their stay. New hires will receive training pay at a flat hourly rate during their training period, transitioning to mileage pay once they are independently driving. Experienced ICC company drivers who train new hires will also receive an additional hourly rate for their training efforts. The company provides 2019 and newer Peterbilt trucks, both manual and automatic, and offers referral bonuses and safety bonuses.
