About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate/Back-up CDL Driver, you will be responsible for performing assigned job duties while gaining building material knowledge and familiarity with vehicle operation and safe driving procedures along with completing warehouse duties. This role involves both driving and warehouse responsibilities, ensuring timely service and adherence to safety regulations.

Requirements

• Must have a Class A CDL License.
• 1-2 years of operating tractor trailer or flatbed truck to deliver/pick up cargo.
• Complete Clearinghouse Check.
• Ability to ascend/descend in a tractor-trailer cab and flatbed trailer at each stop.
• Ability to meet the required schedule for work.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned job duties as a Warehouse Associate and Back-up CDL Driver.
• Gain knowledge of building materials and vehicle operation.
• Complete warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
• Safely operate forklifts or other machinery to complete assigned tasks.
• Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods.
• Maintain DOT travel logs according to federal and state regulations.
• Tarp cargo in inclement weather and ensure vehicle presentation.
• Work with other warehouse associates and lift up to 100 lbs. multiple times a day.
