About The Position

TOMRA is an international recycling company that is looking for a CDL-A Drop and Hook Driver in Lancaster, NY. This position is for the second shift and offers a starting pay of $28/hr plus overtime. The role involves preparing, receiving, and providing appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service. The driver will be responsible for loading, securing, and unloading cargo, maintaining contact with the dispatcher for instructions, and ensuring customer relations are upheld while on route. The job requires lifting 25-50lbs at a time and using a handheld device to track inventory and client relations.

Requirements

• 1 year of CDLA Driving experience
• Must have a 'satisfactory' driving record
• Ability to lift 25-50lbs
• Knowledgeable on how to use handheld devices like smart phones or other similar devices, or ability to learn these skills
• Experience in client relations

Responsibilities

• Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service
• Loads, secures and unloads cargo
• Maintains contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up
• Maintain customer relations while on route
• Lifting 25-50lbs at a time while loading and unloading trucks
• Use of handheld device to track inventory and client relations
