There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
As a Class A Truck Driver, you will operate Dyno Nobel trucks and specialty equipment to deliver commercial explosives products to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Duties will include assisting in the operation and maintenance of our local SME (Site Mixed Emulsion) plant facility; duties include preparation and quality control management of chemical solutions, loading and un-loading of SME trucks. You will drive/operate a range of delivery vehicles over public roads in order to move or deliver explosive products to company or customer sites in a timely and safe manner. Driving duties will frequently extend off of public roads to include mine locations/roads, quarries, FSRs, off-road field locations and other such potentially difficult terrain. You will also drive and operate bulk/SME truck in order to prepare and deliver quality explosive products to customer sites, operate rigid-frame, engine-powered machines (skid steer) and associated equipment (trailer), and possess basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs or maintenance while in the field. You will prepare and maintain all records and reports concerning the handling and transportation of explosive products, including safety, and the use and detonation of explosives, to ensure accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and performance history. You will also maintain safe working conditions and assure that all crew members and others on the site follow all safety and regulatory procedures and practices to ensure a safe and successful event. From time to time, you may be required to work from our sister site at Rathdrum, ID and/or Oakland, OR, on an ad hoc basis, as required by the site supervisor.
