About The Position

The position involves loading trucks, transporting lumber and building materials to residential construction sites, and unloading these materials. The role requires the safe operation of a forklift and truck-mounted Moffett, as well as daily inspections of the truck for safety issues. The driver must determine if any parts are malfunctioning and complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.

Requirements

• Class A CDL license
• 2+ years driving experience with clean MVR record
• Previous driving experience in lumber and building material industry preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Responsibilities

• Load truck, transport lumber and building materials to residential construction site, and unload building materials
• Safely operate forklift and truck-mounted Moffett
• Inspect truck for safety issues daily
• Determine if any parts are malfunctioning
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork
