About The Position

Join our dynamic team at Heritage and Company as a CDL A Driver! We are looking for skilled and responsible drivers to support our landscape maintenance and construction operations. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in transporting equipment, materials, and team members to and from job sites while ensuring safety and efficiency in every journey.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
At least 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
Knowledge of landscape materials and equipment is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as needed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility in work hours and availability for overtime as required.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Doubles endorsement would be great but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and company regulations.
Transport landscape materials, equipment, and personnel to project sites as needed.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.
Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment as required.
Communicate effectively with the operations team to coordinate daily tasks and schedules.
Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to promote a safe working environment.
To run a plow truck or machine in wintertime.
Ability to run a dump and haul equipment.
