About The Position

Swire Coca-Cola is one of the largest bottlers of Coca-Cola in North America, distributing more than 50 beverage brands and flavors across 13 states. As a CDL A Driver, you will operate a commercial motor vehicle and play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of beverages to customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED) and/or equivalent degree/certificate required.
  • CDL-A License required.
  • Interstate License required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy requirements.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business; flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and delivery demands.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; physical capability to lift and move heavy beverage cases repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customer, clients, and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maneuver commercial delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations.
  • Follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries while adapting to various traffic and weather conditions.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of yourself, other road users, and the cargo.
  • Safely load and unload beverage products utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage or breakage.
  • May stock beverage products and maintain back rooms/back stock areas as requested by the store or management.
  • Pick up and return pallets, shells and assigned product at each delivery location.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Utilize electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with logistics team to ensure accurate inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers to provide updates on delivery progress, delays, or issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, both internally and externally.
  • Interact professionally with store personnel and establish positive relationships with store managers and staff.
  • Maintain valid CDL-A license.
  • Complete all assigned training.
  • Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.
