As a Day Shift Delivery Truck Driver, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance Safeguarding company property, including donated goods Maintaining records such as Vehicle Logs and daily Trip Sheets Providing basic supervision for assigned Truck Helper Reporting any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles Reporting delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to headquarters Loading and unloading trucks, vehicles, containers, and trailers. Maintaining appropriate communication with headquarters Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on their assigned vehicle daily. Inspecting truck equipment and supplies (such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water). All other duties based on business needs. The good news is that we have an amazing training program that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Truck Driver. Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
  • CDL License
  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • Minimum 6 -12 months commercial truck driving experience
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License (Class C), with driving record acceptable to company's vehicle insurance standards
  • Must be able to read operating and safety instructions
  • Ability to effectively use a dolly, pallet jack and lift gate
  • Flexible work schedule and regular attendance necessary
  • Required to work weekends
  • Communicating effectively, including using positive language with team members

  • Learn and adapt to evolving technology needs
  • Work both independently and with a team
