About The Position

Based out of our Toledo Division, our CDL-A Truck Drivers pick up goods from our suppliers and deliver them to our customers, building and solidifying strong business relationships. They may also transfer goods between our locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Living Out Lumbermen’s Culture – Leading in and modeling Lumbermen’s core values while creating an atmosphere where Lumbermen’s is ‘first choice’ of our customers. Loading Products – Loading and unloading trailers using tie down straps and operating side curtain trailers. Securing Orders – Properly securing all material loaded on their truck. Staying Compliant – Properly maintaining their Lumbermen’s-supplied CMV ensuring compliance with required mechanical maintenance per DOT regulations. Ensuring Safety – Following all DOT and Company safety regulations. Teamwork – Building and maintaining strong relationships on behalf of Lumbermen’s with all those they come in contact with, including customers, suppliers, fellow employee owners and patrons on the road. It’s crucial that the person selected to fill this role is a safety-minded team player who gets energy from contributing to collaborative success. This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate a forklift (trailer loading experience a plus).
  • Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs.
