CDL-A DRIVER FOR SEMI-LOCAL LANE
About The Position
Semi-Local lane with 2,000 miles per week on average and a pay of $0.58 - $0.62 cpm The lane runs to CO, UT, WY, MT, ID. From Monday to Friday though driver can work a sixth day for additional pay. Start time 05:30 with a 10- 12 hour work day on average. As this lane is semi local, there will be 2-3 nights per week where the driver needs to be out in the truck. These nights are Monday to Wednesday Driver will unload with electric pallet jack and dolly. Freight is heavy (10-85 lbs) and up to 600 cases per trailer. Drivers will be required to break down the pallets and verify delivery. Therefore physical fitness is necessary
Requirements
- 21 years old minimum
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record
- Residency within 50 miles of the city is strictly enforced
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations within the last 3 years
- Drug-free status required
- SAP candidates are NOT accepted
- Physical fitness
