About The Position

Local yard job for CDL-A drivers. Local lane operating in a 250 mile radius of Ayer, MA. Thus, candidates will be selected according to the area of residence. A 10 – 12 hour work day from Friday to Tuesday or Saturday to Wednesday starting between 05:00 – 06:00 This lane DOES NOT OPERATE in NYC. Hazmat is required to work in the lane, If the driver does not have they are expected to get it; these costs might be reimbursed. Uniforms are provided. Pay $0.40 - $0.45 cpm with 1,250 miles per week on average.

Requirements

• 21 years old minimum
• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT medical card
• Verifiable and recent trailer driving experience with a good employment record
• Residency within 50 miles of the city is strictly enforced
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 accidents or violations within the last 3 years
• Drug-free status required
• SAP candidates are NOT accepted
