About The Position

Great Lakes Roofing Corp. (GLRC) is immediately hiring a CDL-A driver/Rigger to join the Crew in Germantown, WI. You’ll play a vital role in every roofing project we complete by driving materials and equipment to job sites around Wisconsin. Your warehouse duties combined with rigging and on-the-road time create a diverse, hands-on work experience. Requirements

  • Valid, insurable CDL-A, non-restricted license
  • Able to obtain crane certification and complete additional training as needed
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs. repeatedly
  • Mobility to shift between forklifts, walking, stooping, driving, and lifting
  • Confidence/ comfortable working at heights, both on roof-tops and using ladders
  • Occasional overnights are necessitated due to DOT regulations
  • Start and end your work day at our HUB in Germantown, WI

Responsibilities

  • Load flat beds with materials and equipment, secure the loads, etc.
  • Drive the loaded trucks to job sites and unload the materials
  • Operate cranes (or assist with signaling) to load these supplies onto roofs
  • Handle a forklift safely indoors AND in the yard
  • Work outside in all weather in support of company objectives
  • Participate in training as assigned
  • Provide quality service to our customers around Wisconsin
  • Learn to perform work according to company standards
  • Collaborate with the Crew for the benefit of all
