Requirements

Current and valid Class A CDL commercial license is required.
Comprehensive knowledge of:
Principles and methods for road transportation of vehicles.
Relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for effective operations.
Customer service principles, including needs assessment, quality standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
Machines and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
The structure and content of the English language, including grammar, composition, and spelling.
Skills and Abilities:
Monitoring gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper equipment functionality.
Applying logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches to problems.
Flexibility to adjust work schedules as project demands.
Must maintain a clean driving record.
Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles, mechanical systems, safety equipment, and emergency gear are in proper working order.
Following all safety procedures when operating Car Haulers and securing cargo for transport using ropes, chains, binders, or covers.
Inspecting loads to confirm cargo is properly secured and compliant with regulations.
Maintaining accurate logs of vehicle service and repair status in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Cleaning, fueling, and performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
Promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
Collaborating with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients, the public, or stakeholders.
Adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies while operating vehicles and equipment.
Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors to support operational needs.
