About The Position

Kenworth Mid Atlantic of Delmarva in Dover is seeking a local CDL A driver (hazmat & tanker) with a clean driving record. This role is responsible for test driving trucks serviced by our technicians as well as delivering new trucks to our customers. The ideal candidate will be have a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate accurate mechanical information to the technicians. This position requires operating a manual transmission/stick shift on a daily basis. 7am - 4 pm Monday- Friday.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to communicate mechanical information effectively

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow safety procedures and DOT regulations
• Deliver customer trucks to accurate locations
• Remain alert while operating the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with employees and customers
• Assist parts department with deliveries as needed
• All other duties as assigned.
