About The Position

Summary of Duties: The CDL-A Driver will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and debris to and from job sites while maintaining safety, professionalism, and compliance with all DOT and company standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (i ncluding the following: Other assignments, projects, and duties may be required): Safely operate a dump truck and other assigned vehicles Transport materials such as dirt, gravel, and construction debris Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Secure loads properly and ensure safe dumping procedures Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations Communicate effectively with project managers and foremen Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment Support job-site operations as needed Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
  • Three to five years experience driving tri-axle dump truck
  • Valid Driver’s License to include active liability insurance.
  • Successful completion of required criminal record and motor vehicle record background checks.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
