CDL A Delivery Driver
About The Position
J Polep Distribution services is one of the largest distribution operations servicing the Convenience Store Market in the Northeast, headquartered out of Chicopee, Massachusetts. The company is growing and is looking for exceptional drivers to join their team at the Springfield, VT Operations. This full-time Delivery Driver position requires a Class A Commercial license. The role involves delivering products to stores, institutions, schools, hospitals, colleges, and other retail establishments. Drivers typically deliver through the customer’s front door using a 2-wheel hand truck. Routes are local and regular, sent out daily, ensuring drivers are home every night and off on weekends.
Requirements
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- Excellent driving, delivery and customer service skills
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently
- Able to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
- Able to make deliveries with a hand-truck
- Comfortable working with customers as well as sales, accounting and other department
