About The Position

CDL B Delivery Driver / Shipping & Receiving Clerk will load and unload trucks or vehicles, make pickups and deliveries and support all shipping & receiving processes Essential Job Functions and Duties Loading and unloading trucks or vehicles and installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit Loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves. Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to designated areas. Verifying load against shipping papers. Driving truck to destination for deliveries and pickups. Maintaining truck log according to company procedures and state and federal regulations. Maintaining interior and exterior appearance of company vehicles. Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department. Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate methods. Opening boxes, crates, and other containers. Recording quantities of materials or items received or distributed using appropriate procedures. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed. Sweeping, dusting, and mopping. Organizing warehouses and work areas for orderliness at all times. Requirements

  • Ability to be Forklift Certified
  • Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card and pass driver background check
  • Must have valid CDL A with clean driving record
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • High School Diploma
  • Meet DOT Drug Screening Requirements
  • Post Offer Background check and Behavioral Assessments required for new hires
  • Must be able to grip and operate hand tools with a minimum of 50 in/lbs. of force
  • Must be able to grip fine contacts and wires with one hand and operate crimping tool with the other hand
  • Must be able to see fine components and have manual dexterity to properly place and solder these components.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 35 lbs. for at least 15 feet.
  • Safety Glasses must be worn at all times when in certain production areas.
  • Enclosed non-skid shoes must be worn at all times when in the production areas.
