About The Position

The position involves delivering and unloading beverage products to customers. The driver will operate a truck over an established route to deliver and sell products, collect money from customers, and make change. The job requires performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring the load is properly secured for transport. The driver will also provide excellent customer service, check each load for accuracy upon delivery, and reconcile route payments at the end of the day.

Requirements

  • CDL class A preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Clean driving record, no SR22 insurance.
  • Copies of your CDL and DMV record required prior to start.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Beverage delivery experience preferred.
  • Good customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle daily.
  • Follow proper procedures as established by the FMCSA for operation of a commercial vehicle.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness in accordance with company standards.
  • Read and efficiently work from routing manifest to deliver products.
  • Use truck, pallet jack (electric or manual), and/or hand truck.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Comply with special instructions for proper and efficient delivery.
  • Check each load for accuracy upon delivery.
  • Collect company assets such as keg shells, plastic shells, and pallets from previous deliveries.
  • Accurately adjust invoices and issue credit as instructed.
  • Merchandise stock as determined by service agreements with customers.
  • Obtain customer signature for delivery.
  • Issue invoice and obtain customer's proof of delivery documentation.
  • Accurately collect cash or check payments per terms of service for customers.
  • Reconcile route payments at end of day.
  • Collaborate with other departments as appropriate.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • $25.00 - $31.50 per hour depending on experience plus a $2.00 shift premium.
