The company is seeking dependable CDLA Backhaul Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles (potentially triples) between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards. Requirements

Must be 21+ years of age
Ability to pass employment screening
Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record that meets Company insurability standards
Ability to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds (Touch freight)

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer
Transport doubles (potentially triples) between Sysco facility and shuttle yards
Build relationships with each customer with their positive, friendly attitudes
Become familiar with customer operations to meet needs and expectations
Unload/deliver various products on an assigned route schedule
