About The Position

The Odom Corporation is seeking a CDL A/B Delivery Driver to deliver and unload beverage products to customers. The driver will operate a truck over an established route, ensuring the safe delivery and sale of products while collecting payments and making change. This position offers a starting rate of $25.75 per hour, along with a $500 signing bonus after 60 days of employment and retention bonuses at the 6-month and 12-month marks. Employees will also receive up to 128 hours of Paid Time Off annually, 9 paid holidays, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer matching.

Requirements

  • Must have CDL class A or B.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Clean driving record, no SR22 insurance.
  • Copies of CDL and DMV record required prior to start.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Beverage delivery experience preferred.
  • Good customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers and unloads beverage products to customers.
  • Drives truck over established route to deliver and sell products.
  • Collects money from customers and makes change.
  • Secures goods and products inside the truck or trailer to minimize damage during transit.
  • Reads and works from routing manifest to deliver products using truck, forklift, pallet jack, and/or hand truck.
  • Records invoices, credits, or other information on the truck route manifest.
  • Maintains accurate records of route and follows check-in procedures.
  • Documents customer receipt of product and collects payment as appropriate.
  • Collects or picks up empty containers, rejects, or unsold merchandise.
  • Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
  • Cleans assigned delivery vehicle and trailer.
  • Performs pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle.
  • Suggests and implements ways to improve profits, quality, and service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
