Requirements

• Class A CDL
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• 3 months verifiable tractor trailer experience OR Recent Trucking School Certification

Responsibilities

• Moving 53ft Dry Van trailers in and out of docks
• Performing about 24-35 moves a shift in a small yard
• Moving trailers to and from separate yards
• Complying with all company & client safety regulations
• Assisting OTR drivers
• Checking trailer numbers and seals against paperwork when moving between yards
• Inspecting trailers prior to moving them for DOT certification and general safety concerns
• Reporting safety concerns upward to Leads and security
