About The Position

Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Concord is seeking a Parts Counterperson responsible for selling parts to customers over-the-counter and providing necessary parts to the service department and body shop. The role includes placing special orders and assisting customers in selecting and purchasing parts. The Parts Counterperson will read appropriate manuals to ascertain type and specification of parts, provide pricing and product information, dispense parts to the service department and body shop, order out-of-stock parts, assist in taking inventory, and maintain customer satisfaction index (CSI) at or above dealership standards. The position requires maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work area, participating in required training, and complying with company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of automotive parts.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.
• Intermediate ability and knowledge of the Parts portion of the Dealership Management System and other computer applications to support operations.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

• Experience in automotive parts sales.
• Up to 3 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities
