About The Position
Under the direction of the CDC Director, the Lead Teacher is responsible for meeting the developmental needs of children birth through six years of age in a group setting. Directs classroom teachers, assistant teacher, practicum students, and volunteers to meet program standards as well as Tulsa/County Health Department and the Federal School Lunch licensing regulations. Childcare has special demands in that we care for children that in many instances cannot care for themselves. It is critical that the Lead Teacher be mentally and physically fit to perform the duties outlined in this job description.
